The English vineyards are finally being recognised by the international wine industry with the recognition they deserve. As in this years’ annual “International Wine Fair” at the Docklands Excel centre in London, saw two of the prominent English vineyards winning the coveted Gold medals for the first time. The weaker currency in the UK currently has seen interest growing for English wines beyond our shores and many are now widely available in most of the big retail chains, specialist wine merchants and even on some of the most prestigious airlines.
